Innisfail RCMP is asking for the public’s help following an armed robbery at the Mac’s store earlier this month.
According to police, a lone suspect wearing a balaclava entered the store, located at 5204 41 St., at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 3, produced a knife and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Cpl. Jeff Hildebrandt said the attendant was the only one in the store at the time of the robbery.
“It was a matter of a couple of minutes, if that,” Hildebrandt said of the robbery. “It was in and out.”
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, who was wearing a black and white jacket, and a balaclava.
Anyone with information on this or any other crime is asked to contact Innisfail RCMP at (403) 227-3342 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.tipsubmit.com. Tips leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect could lead to a cash reward.
