The year 2013 witnessed huge headlines in politics, crime, and sports but no story generated a community-wide response like the issue of bullying.
It all began when teenager Aidan Remple went skateboarding in Raspberry Park on Aug. 25 and was confronted by a group of youths and one adult. Remple was left bloodied and battered on the street.
But the teen, his family and the community rallied with a message that bullying will no longer be tolerated in Innisfail.
