INNISFAIL - More than 60 hungry people showed up for the 46A St. Crescent Block Party in Innisfail on Saturday, July 19.
Thanks to the generous support of Paul's No Frills, Dairy Queen and Central Alberta Co-Op there was enough food for everyone.
Many of the residents also brought supporting entrees and desserts.
Barry Lloyd and Murray Cameron entertained the folks with music and stories, and reverend Dan Daley had some "points to ponder" and blessed the meal.
The reverend said "This is a remarkable street where most everyone knows everyone, they help their neighbours with snow removal or lawn mowing, and upwards of 20 meet each week for coffee. Everyone waves and says hi!"
