BOWDEN - For the second time in a month, the Bowden Liquor Store has been robbed, and police are asking for public assistance to help catch the thief.
The latest incident occurred Oct. 30 at approximately 10 p.m.
When police got there, they discovered that a male had got in by smashing a window with a hammer.
He stole some cases of beer and took off on foot.
The suspect was wearing black pants, a grey or white sweatshirt and a tuque.

A similar robbery took place at the same store Oct. 5 at about 12:30 p.m.
Also in that incident, the front window of the business was smashed in order to gain entry.
Five 26-ounce bottles of vodka were stolen.
Total damage to the store from that robbery was estimated to be about $1,000.
