Plea reserved second time in drug case
A man charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking reserved his plea again when he appeared in Red Deer provincial court on May 3.
Scott Stephen Fitzgerald, 32, had previously reserved his plea during an appearance on April 30. Fitzgerald is accused of throwing drugs in a bag over the fence into the yard of the Bowden Institution on February 19.
Fitzgerald remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear again in provincial court on May 10.
Dangerous driving case put over
The man accused of dangerous driving, flight from police, impaired care and control of a motor vehicle, theft and other charges continues to reserve his plea.
Kenneth Peter Robert Nepoose, 20, is accused in an April 8 incident where he is alleged to have avoided sheriffs who tried to pull him over only to be arrested by RCMP later when his truck got stuck. He is being kept in custody.
Nepoose appeared in Red Deer provincial court on April 27 where his plea was put over until May 11.
