RED DEER COUNTY – Four people sustained serious injuries from yesterday's two-vehicle collision at a rural intersection west of the hamlet of Markerville.
RCMP Cpl. Laurel Scott said at about 8:35 p.m. on Aug. 13 Innisfail RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Twp. Rd. 364 and Secondary Highway 766.
Scott said the collision involved a pickup truck believed to be travelling southbound and a westbound car, which the RCMP has determined to be previously reported as stolen.
She said four adults were transported to hospitals, two from each vehicle. While the injuries were described as serious to each adult, they were not life-threatening, said Scott.
