INNISFAIL - There was a heavy police presence in an Innisfail mobile home neighbourhood early Tuesday morning.
"Innisfail RCMP are currently on scene at an incident in the Westwood Court neighbourhood. They are asking people to avoid the area to allow officers to safely do their job," police said in a press release issued at 4:53 a.m. July 9.
"For public and police safety, please refrain from posting the actions of police on social media," police requested.
About a half hour later, Innisfail RCMP gave an update, saying the incident was over.
"Thank-you to the public for your cooperation," police said in the update issued at 5:29 a.m.
