Innisfail RCMP arrest sleeping man in stolen vehicle

INNISFAIL - RCMP arrested a man found sleeping in a stolen vehicle on Friday morning. Emergency Services (EMS) was called to the scene at a local fast food restaurant in the early morning hours, at about 5:50 a.m. on Aug.

INNISFAIL - RCMP arrested a man found sleeping in a stolen vehicle on Friday morning.

Emergency Services (EMS) was called to the scene at a local fast food restaurant in the early morning hours, at about 5:50 a.m. on Aug. 30, after receiving a report of a man sitting in a Ford F150 truck. The man appeared to be going in and out of consciousness according to police.

EMS assessed the driver, said police, and determined he required medical attention and transported him to hospital.

Police said they later determined the truck the man was sitting in was stolen and he was arrested.

Jordan Kyle Glasgow 19, of Innisfail has been charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Glasgow made an appearance in Red Deer Provincial Court on Aug. 30.
