INNISFAIL – Mounties are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a woman suspected in a residential break and enter and theft in Sherwood Park.
RCMP Cpl. Troy Savinkoff said at 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 15 a female suspect abandoned a stolen black 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe at the Central Alberta Co-op gas bar in Innisfail.
Savinkoff said the vehicle was stolen on Sept. 13 in Sherwood Park during a residential break and enter.
He said a suspect used a garage door opener that was stolen from a vehicle parked outside to ultimately enter the home and steal keys for the vehicle.
Savinkoff said RCMP have obtained video surveillance photos of the female suspect and are asking for public assistance in identifying her.
