INNISFAIL – The RCMP is asking for the public’s help to find the culprit who smashed a store-front window in the downtown core.
Innisfail RCMP Cpl. Michael Heysa said a report came in at about 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 14 that a male suspect was causing a disturbance in the downtown area and had thrown a flower planter through a store front window.
Heysa said local Mounties attended and discovered that the store-front window belonging to the Collective House on Main Street had been smashed, and that the suspect had fled from the scene.
He said a witness who reported the incident to police described the suspect as:
• Caucasian male in his early 20s;
• blonde or dark hair styled in a pony tail;
• about five feet, eight inches to five feet, 11 inches tall;
• medium build.
Heysa said the suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and baggy brown/beige shorts.
He said the suspect may have fled the scene in a vehicle along with an unknown female.
Heysa said Innisfail RCMP is continuing its investigation into the incident.
