Update: Innisfail RCMP inform public male has been found safe

INNISFAIL — Local Mounties are advising the public that a man previously reported missing was found.

"RCMP are pleased to report that Brandon Moench has been located safe," reads a portion of an updated press release issued today (Monday, July 4). 

RCMP Cpl. Troy Savinkoff had previously said in a news release that Innisfail RCMP were requesting assistance in finding the 40-year-old.

Savinkoff had said at the time that Moench was last spoken to on June 13 and there was concern for his wellbeing. The corporal had said the missing man could have been in the Calgary area.

Moench was described as:

  • 163 centimetres (5-foot, 4-inches) tall;
  • 113 kilograms (250 pounds);
  • Light complexion;
  • Blue eyes;
  • Brown hair;
  • Moustache;
  • And tattoos on his chest.
