INNISFAIL - The Innisfail Fish & Game Association held its annual trout release event at Innisfail's Dodd's Lake on the morning of May 4.
The annual event had the association, in partnership with the Innisfail Lions Club, release a record-setting 1,050 fish into the lake, including 700 rainbow trout and 350 tiger trout.
It attracted scores of Innisfailians, including members of town council, who were treated to the service club's first-ever pancake breakfast for the annual event.
