Kneehill Valley 4-H Beef Club update

In February we donated bags of food items to the Innisfail Food Bank and we donated $250 to the Kneehill Valley Hall. We also participated in 4-H Night at the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Game on Saturday February 19.
We held our Public Speaking Feb. 13 at the Kneehill Valley Hall. The winners for Juniors were: 1st place Kendall Janssen, 2nd place Mikayla Janssen and 3rd place Alicia Janssen.
Intermediate winners were: 1st place Amy Severtson, 2nd place Colt Blake and 3rd place Emily McArthur.
The Senior winners were: 1st place Erin Chambers and 2nd place Courtney Smith.
Thank you to Karen Douglas, Iris White, David Hoar and Judy Jackson who did a great job of Judging for us for that day.
Zone Public Speaking was held on March 6 at the Cottonwood Hall and Junior winners were: 1st place Kendall Janssen and 2nd place Mikayla Janssen. They will move on to the District Public Speaking on March 13 at the Ridgewood Hall.
We also had our ticket draw for our fundraiser. Grand prize winner for four Gold seat hockey tickets (Edmonton vs Calgary) with limousine transportation to the Rexall Place in Edmonton was won by Dawn Malone.
Second place winner for $250 was won by Wendy Chalack and third prize winner for $150 was won by Chris Koenning. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported our club.
We will be holding our annual bottle drive fundraiser in Innisfail on April 9.
Our Show and Sale will be held on Monday May the 30 at the Innisfail Auction Mart, we are busy working with our steer and heifer projects. Keep this date open, everyone is welcome.
