The Innisfail and District Historical Society marked its 50th Anniversary with the seasonal grand opening and celebration at the Innisfail and District Historical Village on Saturday (May 25).

The event included a special look behind the scenes at the museum, which included accessioning items, to mark the Innisfail and District Historical Society’s 50th Anniversary.

The Innisfail and District Historical Society marked its 50th Anniversary with the seasonal grand opening and celebration at the Innisfail and District Historical Village on Saturday (May 25).

Visitors to the museum enjoyed a pancake breakfast, tours of the Sinclair House and the archives, rides in a 1927 Model T, a look behind the scenes at the museum, including learning about the accessioning of items and enjoyed tea and pie in the afternoon.

The Innisfail and District Historical Village will remain open for the season until the fall.
