Innisfail town councilor Jean Barclay serves food to seniors and has plenty of laughs during the opening of this year's Mayor & Seniors Garden Party at the Innisfail & District Historical Village on June 4.
The annual event to celebrate seniors, which has been held for more than 25 years, began at 1 p.m. and concluded at 3 p.m.
Seniors were treated with a visit from Mayor Jim Romane, along with pie, ice cream and light refreshments. Entertainment was provided by Richard and Deborah Popovich, who hosted their Variety Show, a mix of classic rock 'n roll and country music, and comedy.
