PHOTO: 'Cram the Ram' Fundraiser for Innisfail Food Bank

Several Innisfail businesses, members with the Innisfail and District Chamber of Commerce, came together for a summertime barbecue fundraiser for the Innisfail and District Food Bank.

The event raised several pounds of non-perishable food items and several hundred dollars in cash donations for the food bank.

Several Innisfail businesses, members with the Innisfail and District Chamber of Commerce, came together for a summertime barbecue fundraiser for the Innisfail and District Food Bank.

Innisfail Chrysler, Central Alberta Co-op, Servus Credit Union, EQUS and Remax Compass teamed up together for the barbecue on Saturday (July 20) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event, called 'Cram the Ram' was hosted by Innisfail Chrysler and collected non-perishable food items to fill a truck for the food bank. In addition, several hundred dollars in cash donations were also raised from the barbecue.

Dozens of area residents and other Innisfail businesses came out to enjoy the sunshine, barbecue and to support the cause.
