MOCK ACCIDENT – Grades 4,5, 6 and 7 students at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School in Innisfail watch a mock accident scenario with Innisfail fire, EMS and RCMP on Monday morning (May 6). The scenario was held during North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week, to help promote health and safety.

Students at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School in Innisfail participated in a mock emergency scenario with Innisfail fire, local EMS and RCMP Monday morning (May 6).

Students observed what happens when things go wrong for a distracted student who was involved in a vehicle collision while riding a bike.

The scenario took place on the school grounds and was held in support of North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week, to help promote health and safety.

The scenario was a collaborative sponsored event involving the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), Parkland Regional Safety Committee, HSE Integrated, Stuart Olsen Inc., RCMP, the Innisfail Fire Department, and Central Alberta Chapter of Canadian Society of Safety Engineering.
