Students at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School participate in a liturgy, honouring Canada’s Indigenous Peoples on National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21.

Students at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School in Innisfail celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day on Friday (June 21).

Students and staff participated in a student led Indigenous Liturgy, games, crafts and activities throughout the day and also created displays of Indigenous clothing, books, artwork and the seven sacred teachings to honour the traditions and culture of Canada's Indigenous Peoples.
