Dozens of Innisfail residents, families and participants came out today (July 27) for the town's first Soap Box Derby. The day began with registration and a pancake breakfast with races beginning at 10 a.m.

Dozens of Innisfail residents, families and participants came out today (July 27) for the town's first Soap Box Derby.

The day began with registration and a pancake breakfast with races beginning at 10 a.m. Participants in different age categories used both sponsored and home-built cars for the event.

The Soap Box Derby was presented by the Innisfail Lions Club with help from several community clubs including the Innisfail Kinsmen Club and the Rotary Club of Innisfail.
