Members of the Phil-Can Neighbourhood Association of Innisfail and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church recently gathered for a cheque presentation to Father Liju Jose in the amount of $5,563.75.
The money was raised over a three-month period from parishioners, and a recent association Tropical Fiesta fundraiser held at the Innisfail Royal Canadian Legion. The funds will go towards the church's new roof project.
