Scam letter
A resident in Innisfail recently received a letter that's a good example of the classic Nigerian prince scam.
The Nigerian prince con involves a letter which promises a share in money to be smuggled out of a country.
Mand said Innisfail RCMP have not received any complaints about the letter being received in the area but reminded people to let the police know.
“If you do get these letters, bring them forward to the RCMP,” Mand said.
