Another assault charge was laid against a different man in a separate domestic assault incident on May 12.

Business break and enters

Mountain Sod and Seed Farm was broken into overnight May 16.

A laptop is missing from the premises. Cpl. A.J. Mand said the office was unlocked.

There are currently no suspects in the case.

George's Farm Centre in Penhold was also broken into via a smashed window. The office was ransacked but nothing was taken.

Rural theft

A garage on a property near Twp. Rd. 350 was entered and several things were taken from different vehicles on May 13.

Items stolen include sunglasses, coins and a jerry can of fuel.

Fraud reminder

Mand is reminding the public to be wary of buying and selling items on the Internet.

He said an Innisfail woman was defrauded out of $2,000 after sending money through Western Union to Beijing as part of the purchase of a Skidoo.

The fraud was reported on May 11 but happened in late April.

Smashed windows

The rear window of a 2011 Dodge Ram truck was smashed by a brick.

The damage was reported on May 11. Nothing was taken from the truck, which was parked in the Newton Drive area of Penhold.

In Innisfail, a living room window was broken when someone threw a rock through it at a residence on 54 Avenue on May 15.

There are no suspects for the rock hurler.

Tires taken

Tires and rims worth approximately $4,500 were taken from a Penhold residence overnight on May 16.

The residence is located on Douglas Close. Mand said it appears the tires and rims were being kept on a back deck when they were taken.

Mischief to damaged vehicles

Overnight on May 14 vehicles belonging to Palliser Chevrolet Ltd. that were damaged when a semi-truck went off the road on May 9 were subjected to further damage.

Mand said someone went through and did things like break more windows and steal the hood ornaments off the vehicles.

Monitor and more taken

A vehicle parked overnight on 54 Avenue was entered overnight on May 12.

A jacket, coins and an LED monitor were among the items stolen from the vehicle.

Mand said the vehicle had been left unlocked.

Spruce View shenanigans

Some property mischief was done by way of damage to a vehicle and a missing solar light on a property in Spruce View on May 13.

Mand said the damage to the vehicle was unspecified. He added there were two other mischief calls of a similar type in Spruce View on the same night.
