Impaired charges
A man from Penhold was charged with impaired driving on May 19.
An RCMP constable stopped a green car with significant body damage travelling northbound on QEII at around 9:30 p.m. There was a strong odour of liquor coming from the car once it was pulled over.
The man was charged with impaired driving and driving with his blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.
Suspension issued
On May 20, a sheriff handed out a 24-hour suspension after pulling a man over for speeding.
The 50-year-old man was from Red Deer. He was given the suspension because he was driving with open liquor in the vehicle.
Drug possession
A man from Grande Prairie was charged with drug possession on May 19.
Two RCMP constables were doing a quad patrol along Glennifer Lake when they came across a suspicious vehicle on Range Road 23 at about 5:20 p.m.
The 20 year-old man was charged with possession for having marijuana and has oil in the vehicle.
