Tools stolen
The Innisfail RCMP are asking for public help in solving the theft of tools and other supplies from a trailer in the rural Innisfail area.
The theft occurred between April 13 and 16 at a utility trailer on a construction site on Rge. Rd. 282 south of Highway 590.
The RCMP would like information on any suspicious persons or vehicles spotted in the area between April 13 and 16.

Lost drunks
Two intoxicated men ended up being escorted back to their hotel by police because they didn't know where they were.
On the night of April 14, the RCMP were contacted because a drunk man showed up at a house on 37 Street, knocking on the door because he didn't know where he was.
Five minutes later another male called 911 from the 7-Eleven asking for someone to call him a cab because he was also unsure of his location.
RCMP drove them to the R&R Inn and Suites where both men were staying.
Pig on the loose
Police had to put down a large pig who was loose in Penhold on April 14.
Cpl. A.J. Mand said the officer obtained permission from the pig's owner as the pig has been “un-catchable.” The pig was shot near Highway 2A.
Penhold town council had mentioned rumours of a loose pig in the area during their meeting on April 9.
Domestic assault
A man was charged with a domestic assault on April 13.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the Innisfail area. Police said the assault was minor and was reported by the alleged victim.
Cracked window
Four youth in Penhold ran away after a rock was thrown at a residence in Penhold.
On April 12, a residence on Parkland Crescent ended up with a cracked window after a rock was thrown and the four youth were spotted dashing away from the scene. The incident occurred close to Jessie Duncan School.
Dinner fiasco
On April 14 the RCMP were called to the Boston Pizza because a local diner had consumed a meal and drinks and couldn't pay the bill.
Mand said the culprit returned to the restaurant the next day to pay their tab.
Vehicle vandalism
Two tires were slashed overnight on April 14.
The vandal slashed two tires of a Honda SUV that was parked in the back lane of 45 Street.
There are no suspects.
Sign shenanigans
Wildrose Party signs were reported as being vandalized on April 17 and 18. Cpl. Mand said the signs had been taken out of the ground.
Mailbox mischief
Rural mailboxes on Rge. Rd.. 12 were broken into and damaged.
The problem was reported on April 18. The boxes were taken off the posts. Police do not know if any mail was taken.
