Impaired charge
A Lethbridge man was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample after he was stopped by police on March 18.
The man was stopped on 50 St. after he was spotted driving at night without his headlights on.
Television heist
A new television was taken from a Penhold residence on March 15.
The incident occurred between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Cpl. A.J. Mand said the thief gained entry through the basement door and stole a 55" Samsung television that had just been delivered and was still in the box.
Weapons-crafting
Innisfail RCMP were called to the institution in Bowden on March 20.
An inmate had been found making a long metal blade in the metal shop. RCMP charged him with possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public and court appearances are pending.
Minor assault
A minor assault was reported on March 20.
A woman told police another woman had assaulted hear on 49 Ave. near the Bluebird Motel. The accused woman took off and police are still looking for her.
"Alcohol was involved," said Mand.
Pop bottle thefts continue
The bottle stealing spree continues with another batch of bags reported taken on March 21.
Mand said two males were reported on a back porch taking pop bottles on 42 Street. Mand said they were seen with a "newish" Jeep.
Ongoing thefts
On March 21, a man reported someone's been breaking in to his property and stealing tools and equipment.
The thefts had been ongoing since September. The location of the property was not provided and the RCMP have no suspects.
License plate stolen
A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in front of a residence on 42 St.
The theft was reported on March 20. The plate had been taken overnight.
