Business break-ins A truck was stolen from a business on 50 Avenue on Jan. 31. Entrance was gained into the business via a broken window. Truck tools and a computer were also stolen. The truck was recovered in Blackfalds. There are no suspects.

An office trailer on an oilfield lease site was broken into in the rural Innisfail area Feb. 1. Numerous items, such as a DVD player, a coffee maker, a broom, office chair and more, were stolen. There are no suspects.

Domestic assaults

Two assault charges were laid after separate domestic incidents in the Innisfail area.

On Jan. 29 a female from B.C. was charged with assault. The incident allegedly occurred in rural Innisfail and the accused woman went back to B.C. after.

A man left the scene of an alleged assault in an Innisfail hotel on Jan. 30. He was charged with breaching various court orders when he was arrested the next day in the Three Hills area.

Stuff stolen from open vehicles

Four separate thefts occurred in and around Innisfail when people left their cars unlocked.

On Jan. 27 three vehicles were entered and loose items, such as a briefcase, were taken from the vehicles. On Jan. 29 one vehicle was entered and loose items stolen.

Freezer arson

On Jan. 29 an old freezer in a backyard on 47 Street was lit on fire.

Cpl. A.J. Mand said the fire was out before the fire department was on scene. The police have no suspects.
