Innisfail Mounties are investigating a pair of break-ins and thefts at two local businesses that were committed within three days of each other.

Innisfail RCMP Sgt. Lori Eiler said RCMP responded to a complaint at about 11 a.m. on April 13 about a break-in at Antler Hill Storage.

Eiler said sometime during the previous two days unknown persons entered the storage area and broke into a number of trailers, which were then vandalized. She said a number of electronics and televisions were stolen.

Eiler said a black 14-foot enclosed cargo trailer with a large countertop and flooring installation decals on both sides, bearing a P.E.I. licence plate, was also stolen. She said a total of three trailers were damaged.

Three days later in the afternoon of April 16, local RCMP responded to another break-and-enter complaint at Alberta Trailers in Innisfail.

Eiler said sometime during the previous night unknown persons entered the locked storage area and broke into a total of eight trailers. They sustained damage and had a number of electronics and televisions stolen out of them.

If any citizen has any information about these break and enters and thefts, he or she is asked to contact the Innisfail RCMP at 403-227-3342 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through the Internet at www.tipsubmit.com
