Area seniors are being randomly contacted this month by University of Alberta researchers hoping to compile views on transportation availability.
“The results of the survey will help us to better meet the needs of seniors in Alberta with respect to transportation,” said Param Bhardwaj, a University of Alberta research assistant.
Surveyors with the Population Research Lab from the university will be contacting area seniors between Feb. 8 and March 15 to see if they would be willing to participate in the survey.
Rural and urban seniors will be contacted to find out how well their transportation needs are being met.
