The Innisfail Legion was overtaken by bears, and no one was injured.
“Our first annual Christmas Luncheon was very successful,” said Diane Mineault, the chamber's executive director. “ We had a good crowd that included Sylvan Lake-Innisfail Wildrose MLA Kerry Towle, Red Deer County mayor Jim Wood, and best of all, the community of Innisfail won.”
The Christmas Luncheon was held Dec. 20 at the legion from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the winners of the ‘Very Beary Country Christmas'/Christmas Light Up promotion were announced.
