INNISFAIL - Hometown Christmas is returning to Innisfail for the third consecutive year.

The annual fun-filled family event is taking place throughout town at various locations on Nov. 19.

This year, the Innisfail and District Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Town of Innisfail and Evergreen Parent Link Centre for the one-day event.

“We run the event free throughout the community so that every family can participate.” Said Carla Gabert, chamber manager. “Thanks to the Innisfail businesses and partners we are able to run the events that day free for families.”

Gabert noted that although details for the event have not yet been finalized, there will be holiday festivities and activities occurring around town on Nov. 19, including horse-drawn sleigh rides, hot chocolate and Christmas carolling, as well as other fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.

“Hometown Christmas is a great way to start the holiday season.”
