The 31st annual Innisfail and District Trade and Leisure Show had entertainment and vendors to suit almost any taste on Friday night and Saturday.
“It was great,” said Jane Duncalfe, the executive director of the Innisfail and District Chamber of Commerce, the group behind the annual show.
“Anybody that attends it is always quite thrilled with the show,” Duncalfe said.
About 1,200 people made their way through the show over the weekend. Duncalfe said attendance was about the same as last year.
The show, which mostly filled both arenas, had a huge variety of vendors that included local tourist destinations.
The entertainment was a hit. Duncalfe noted the Innisfail Pipe Band and the aboriginal dance troupe from Red Deer are always popular attractions.
