INNISFAIL - The incident that drew a heavy police presence in the 5100 block of 36th Street Close in Innisfail has been resolved, police confirm.
An update about the incident was issued at 9:45 p.m. this evening.
"Thank you to everyone for your cooperation in this matter," the statement said.
No further information was released.
At 8:24 p.m. Innisfail RCMP advised of a heavy police presence in the 5100 block of 36th Street Close.
"At this time residents in the area are being asked to stay inside their houses. Please avoid the area if possible," the earlier statement issued on Wednesday, April 27 said.
Police advised that an update would be sent when further information is available.
