INNISFAIL – RCMP is no longer asking for the public’s help in locating a teen who had been missing for three days.

Hours after issuing the request on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 23, police gave an update saying the 14 year-old “was located this afternoon safe and sound.”

“Innisfail RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their  assistance,” police said in the press release.

The teen had last been seen on July 20 at 7:30 p.m., at the bowling alley,  police said earlier in the day.

He was described as having a fair complexion, is five-feet, five inches tall, weighing 125 pounds. He has dark brown, shoulder-length hair and scaring on his left arm that says “alone.”

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of MacDonald was asked to contact the Innisfail RCMP detachment at 403-227-3342. Tipsters wanting to remain anonymous could contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the P3 Tips app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
