INNISFAIL – Local Mounties are no longer asking for the public’s help finding a missing teenager as of this morning.
"RCMP report that Kerri-Lynn Pepin has been located safe. We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," RCMP said in a press release issued on the morning of Thursday, Sept. 28.
Pepin, 15, was reportedly last seen on Tuesday, Sept. 19 in Innisfail, and police said in a press statement issued Tuesday, Sept. 26 that her family wanted to locate her and confirm her well-being.
Pepin is described as being about 1.6 metres tall (five-foot, two-inches) and weighing almost 50 kilograms (110 pounds) with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts was encouraged to contact the Innisfail RCMP Detachment at 825-220-7267. Callers who preferred to remain anonymous could also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
