An annual Penhold celebration is moving dates and names this year and is looking for volunteers to help make it all happen.
“Penhold Days is kind of rebranded … into Penhold Fall Festival and Fair,” said Jazymn Johnson, events coordinator for the Town of Penhold.
The annual summer event is being shifted into the fall. Johnson said this year's committee is hoping to make the festival “bigger and better” than ever.
The planning has only just begun, but one potential idea is to expand the event into a multi-day fair, starting on a Friday night and ending on Sunday. The possible dates are Sept. 7-9, but Johnson said nothing is completely confirmed yet.
Volunteers are needed for planning and the days of the actual event.
“We need volunteers for pretty much everything,” Johnson said. “If they can think of something that they're good at, we can probably use them.”
