DIDSBURY - The Town of Didsbury was a happening place this past weekend, that's for sure.

In addition to several car club events, hockey games and more, there was the always popular Mountain View Arts Festival, which took place on Friday and Saturday at several locations around town.

The arts festival, which is in its eighth year, featured storytellers, musicians, songwriters, handicrafts, painters and much more at several locations around town including the library, Vintage Coffee, Elks Hall and train station.

There was also the second annual bench fair at the library and museum and fifth annual scarecrows on parade competition at the museum.

Another highlight was the family glow dance on Friday night at the Elks Hall.

The festival wrapped up with a concert Saturday at the Elks Hall featuring Heather Blush and the Uppercuts and headliner Ann Vriend.
