Many area clubs and organizations kicked off their year last week on the heels of the annual fall Registration & Info Night.
Last-minute registrations were taken at the combined Welcome Back BBQ and registration evening Sept. 7 for adult and youth art, sport and community groups.
Several groups had their first classes and meetings last week including Sundre Gymnastics Club.
In the 2017-18 season the club had 130 gymnasts and a club official expects similar numbers for 2018.
It kicked off the fall season on Sept. 11, the same evening the Sundre Community Choir met for the first time this season.
The group convenes mid-September for the fall sessions and the end of January for the spring sessions.
Choir organizers are once again looking at putting together a group of bell ringers.
Art classes resumed last week at Rusty Brush Art with sessions for both after-school participants and home-schooled youth during the day.
Move Yourself Dance also kicked off fall sessions last week.
