Jamie Moffat carries in the national dish of Scotland on Saturday evening during a Robbie Burns themed dinner and dance hosted by the Sundre Legion.
Following the traditional parade of the haggis, which was piped in by Dale McIntyre, the famous dish was addressed — or ceremonially sliced with a sword — by Todd MacDonald.
Following the supper was a dance featuring a live musical performance by The Country Travellers. About 100 people attended the event, which was the first time it was held in many years.
