Sundre Library hosts Valentine's Tea

There were 33 guests, including a group of Sundre Seniors Supportive Living lodge residents who were bused out in the Sundre Community Van, attending last Tuesday afternoon the Sundre Library's annual Valentine's Tea.

Sundre resident and author Annie Barnes reads last Tuesday afternoon an excerpt from her second book Evenings With Emma during the Sundre Library’s annual Valentine’s Tea. Her third book, The Life We Had Before, was recently published. Featured in the background on the wall is a variety of artwork from the River Valley School Grade 4 class that will remain on display for the time being.

There were 33 guests, including a group of Sundre Seniors Supportive Living lodge residents who were bused out in the Sundre Community Van, attending last Tuesday afternoon the Sundre Library's annual Valentine's Tea.

While those who attended enjoyed snacks and refreshments, Sundre resident and author Annie Barnes read an excerpt from her second book Evenings With Emma. Her third book, The Life We Had Before, was recently published.

Additionally, Diane Stefanchuk, a newly retired teacher of 30 years from Calgary who relocated to Bearberry about a year ago, performed a couple of tunes, including a song she wrote called Bearberry Skies.
