A cool but not snowy Halloween night forecasted

Temperatures will be in the minuses in the Airdrie - Cochrane - Olds – Sundre area and Red Deer - Ponoka - Innisfail – Stettler area the evening of Oct. 31

Halloween night will be a chilly one for ghosts and goblins out trick-or-treating in the area Oct. 31 but no snow is in the forecast.

Environment Canada’s forecast for the Airdrie - Cochrane - Olds – Sundre area tonight is increasing cloudiness with fog patches developing overnight.

A low of -10 C is forecasted but with a wind chill, it is expected to be -13 C this evening.

In the Red Deer - Ponoka - Innisfail – Stettler area, Environment Canada meteorologists forecast a few clouds tonight with fog patches developing overnight and wind up to 15 kilometres an hour. With the wind chill this evening it is expected to be -6 C getting to -16 C overnight.
