An urn containing human remains stolen from a Dogpound residence on Oct. 12 has been recovered intact in Calgary.
The remains were those of the male homeowner.
The ashes were taken along with family heirlooms, including two gold rings, and a Chevrolet truck during a mid-day break in on Oct. 12.
Police announced on Tuesday that the urn was recovered and has been returned to the man's widow.
The truck has also been recovered. The rings, however, remain outstanding.
Anyone with information about the theft is being asked to contact Didsbury RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
