Mountain View County reeve Bruce Beattie presented the 2019 COPA President’s Award to Sundre Flying Club member Glen Bradley at this week's council meeting.
The award is given to an individual who has made notable contributions to general aviation in Canada.
“Glen has been a strong advocate for general aviation both in Newfoundland where he lived for many years, and Sundre where he now resides. He is very involved in just about everything, has taken dozens of people up for rides promoting general aviation and is always at the forefront to defend issues of national significance,” said COPA president Bernard Gervals.
