DIDSBURY - The Mountainview Colts are probably hoping they can get a do-over for November.
The Colts have now dropped five of six games in the month as they continue to free-fall.
On Friday at home, the Colts lost a close one 5-3 to the Coaldale Copperheads.
The Copperheads scored twice in the first to go up 2-0 before Josh Gette got the Colts on the scoreboard with a goal at 11:42 of the first period.
The teams exchanged goals in the second period with Brandyn Howg scoring for Coaldale and Corbin Houchin getting one for Mountainview.
Tyler Anderson put the Copperheads up 4-2 with a power-play marker at 7:21 of the third period. Trey Wallace brought the Colts to within one late in the game, but an empty-netter from Gavin Burns sealed the 5-3 win for Coaldale.
Ethan Woodward got the loss in net for the Colts despite stopping 32 of 36 shots.
Mountainview has dropped to fourth place in the south division with a record of eight wins, six losses and three ties for 19 points.
The Colts have a chance to get back to their winning ways with a home game on Wednesday against Blackfalds. On the weekend the squad travels to High River Friday and hosts Strathmore Saturday to cap a busy week.
