Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead tonight

Alberta changes from standard time to daylight saving time at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March each year.  
The provincial government wants to hear from Albertans on whether or not the Daylight Saving Time Act should be scrapped.
Daylight saving time comes into effect at 2 a.m. on Sunday, so turn your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

It’s time to spring forward. 

Clocks go forward one hour tonight as Alberta moves to daylight saving time, meaning there will be more daylight into the evening. 

Alberta changes from standard time to daylight saving time at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March each year.  

Albertans narrowly rejected a move to permanent daylight saving time in a referendum held in the fall of 2021.
