DIDSBURY -- The three-day Fuel-A-Palooza Motor Fest was another big success with thousands of residents and visitors packing the streets checking out all the classic vehicles.
In total, there were about 1,000 vehicles registered for the Show 'n Shine, which took place Saturday in downtown Didsbury.
"It was a huge success," said Dana Munn, president of the Didsbury Car Club, which put on the event. "The weather was absolutely perfect. We filled the town from one end to another. We had a huge turnout of people."
In addition to the Show 'n Shine car show, there were several other events over the weekend including the cruise and drive-in movie on Friday, 100 foot shootout on both Saturday and Sunday, and a cabaret on Saturday evening at the Didsbury Saloon. See more at mountainviewgazette.ca.
