The CPKC Holiday Train rumbled through Innisfail, Olds and Didsbury Friday afternoon exciting young and old who gathered near the train tracks in each community for entertainment and to support area food banks.
Each Dec. 13 stop featured entertainment by Magic! and Sofia Camara as well as a cheque presentation from CPKC to area food banks.
Food and cash donations were being collected at each stop from attendees as well.
In Didsbury, the event kicked off Country Christmas. Businesses stay open late for shopping, there's horse-drawn hayrides, street hockey, Santa at the library and more during the annual event.
