DIDSBURY - RCMP officers have been very active in recent weeks, laying charges in cases involving alleged impaired driving, break-in, assault and other offences.
Didsbury RCMP Staff Sgt. Chad Fournier recently outlined details of more than a dozen new cases.
• On July 13 near Cremona, police charged Jeffrey Ralph Hynes, a 38-year-old male from Cremona, with driving while impaired and driving while over 0.08.
• On June 30 near Didsbury, Gordyn William Boulton, a 47-year-old male from Didsbury, was charged with allegedly driving while impaired and driving while over 0.08.
• On May 18, Brendan Kyle Latimer, a 25-year-old male from Calgary, was charge with breaking and entering and theft after allegedly breaking into Res Q Towing in Didsbury and stealing gas cans and tow straps.
• On Feb. 23, Darcey Scott Ramsay, a 57-year-old male from Calgary, was charged with assault stemming from an incident in Water Valley.
• On June 26 in Didsbury, Rose Ann Gielen, a 62-year-old female from Calgary, was charged with impaired driving and driving while over 0.08.
• On June 13, Tannis Ingram, a 31-year-old from Calgary, and Amanda Rae Kroeker-Friesen, a 40-year-old female from Didsbury, were both charged with causing a disturbance following an incident in Didsbury.
• On June 26 in Didsbury, Samantha Elizabeth Schemionek, a 27-year-old female from Didsbury, was charged with driving while impaired and driving while over 0.08.
• On June 22 near Didsbury, Daniel Jon Hansen, a 21-year-old male from Blackfalds, was charged with driving while impaired and driving while over 0.08.
• Jason Van Den Hemel, a 44-year-old male, and Kyla Van Den Hemel, a 30-year-old female, were both charged on June 27 with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and four counts of possession of prohibited weapons, which includes two knives and two firearms. They are Carstairs residents.
• On June 16 Chantel Vossler, a 22-year-old female from Airdrie, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, another count of theft and one count of mischief.
• On June 16 in Didsbury, Nick Stocco, a 20-year-old male from Calgary, was charged with possession of stolen property, theft under $5,000, mischief and four counts of breach of recognizance.
• On May 29 in Didsbury, Kaley Lynn Tersigni, a 34-year old female from Didsbury, was charged with impaired driving and driving while over 0.08.
• On June 15 near Didsbury, Elaine Faye Labelle, a 61-year-old female from Didsbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while prohibited.
• On June 1 in Didsbury, Frederick Rene Marshall, a 63-year-old male of Didsbury, was charged with impaired driving and driving while over 0.08.
• On June 6 near Didsbury, Sandy Linda Faucher, a 35-year-old female of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of committing mischief under $5,000.
• On May 20 Benoit Joseph Babineau, a 49-year-old male from Calgary, was charged with possession of stolen property for a pickup truck, resisting arrest and mischief.
• On April 22 Steven Brett Fillmore, a 33-year-old male from Calgary, was charged with being in possession of a controlled substance and failure to report an accident.
