COVID-19 hospitalization rates in Alberta remain low.
Currently, 52 people are hospitalized, six of whom are in intensive care units.
The province reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday (May 31).
A total of 6,283 Albertans have recovered from the virus to date. There are 584 active cases of the virus in the province.
No additional deaths were reported. 143 Albertans have died to date.

Since Friday COVID-19 testing has been available to all Albertans with or without symptoms of the virus.
The expansion of testing in the province will generate data to help trace the spread of COVID-19. Contact tracing allows public health officials to identify steps that can be used to help limit the transmission of COVID-19 while learning how well public health measures are working.
The evidence gathered through contact tracing will help inform the next stage in Alberta's Economic Relaunch Strategy.
The province is also encouraging Albertans to download the app ABTraceTogether to help prevent the spread of the virus and aid in contact tracing.
Any Albertan showing symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath and sore throat are encouraged to access testing and complete the COVID-19 online self-assessment tool.
