The new Mount View Lodge in Olds is on schedule to meet its targeted completion date at the end of the month, the seniors' housing authority's interim CAO said last week.Sam Smalldon said residents will be moving into the new lodge throughout the month of March, and it will be a relatively slow process.ìIt will only go at a rate of about four (tenants) a day,î he said.ìWe're looking at the first two weeks of April for the grand opening.îMeanwhile, invitations have gone out for a guided tour of the new facility to be held this Thursday. It will include Mountain View Seniors' Housing board members, the Mountain View Housing Foundation, Olds and district service clubs and the media.Smalldon said he was confident the tour would generate some excitement about the $21.64-million facility.
