OLDS — The École Olds High School cross-country running team is huffing and puffing toward three weeks of big challenges.
Today, (Wednesday, Oct. 4), they race in the divisionals, which will be held at Snake Hill in Sundre.
Then come the zones, which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Trochu Golf and Country Club.
It’s hoped at least some will then qualify for the provincials, which will also be held at the golf course in Trochu on Saturday, Oct. 21.
More than 20 students signed up for cross country running this season, head coach Grace Martin says.
She’s looking forward to a competitive season.
